Abstract: This problem was studied in its proper perspective by analyzing the situation of girls’ education in Science subjects, as it exists in Ghana with reference to J.S.S. pupils’ attitude to Science. Using a stratified random sample of junior secondary school students from public and private schools, the study investigated the attitudes of junior secondary school students towards the study of science. Data were collected using survey instrument. The findings indicate that girls do not enjoy science as much as boys do.
